Kristy Maley
Kristy is a Branch Office of Midwest Futures. Her office is located in Verona, ND.
Kristy has always loved working with the diversity that Ag producers bring to the table, realizing that no two farms are alike. Most of all, she enjoys the opportunity to help her clients address their independent needs and achieve their farm operation’s marketing goals.
Kristy’s past work experiences provide her with an extremely well-rounded and knowledgeable set of tools which allow her to customize a farm’s risk management plan to best suit their needs.
Kristy’s past began working in the banking industry. In 7 years she worked her way from the customer service department as a teller to being promoted to the Head Bookkeeper position.
After leaving the banking industry, Kristy began her career in agriculture. In the fall of 1986 until January of 1999, Kristy worked at the Verona Farmers Coop Elevator, where she learned the “ins and outs and “ups and downs” of the grain business. In 1999, she moved into the position of Grain Merchandiser/Manager at the Farmers Union Elevator in LaMoure, ND. She continued working there until March of 2004, when she decided to go out on her own.
It was then that Kristy began her own Marketing Service, Marketing AG Management, where she works as a grain and livestock market analyst and crop insurance agent. Kristy enjoys what she does and is thankful for the experiences she gained from her past endeavors.
Kristy is married to David Maley who owns and operates Maley Construction, a construction company that specializes in gravel road maintenance. Together, Kristy and David have 3 grown children. Their youngest just returned from serving in Iraq in the North Dakota National Guard and is now attending college, along with his sister. Their eldest son resides in Houston, TX and works as a Field Engineer.
