Jody Miller
Jody is a Branch Office of Midwest Futures, located in Thief River Falls, North Dakota. Her area of expertise lies within hedge risk management for ag producers. She also helps farmers manage their hedge risk by properly tying their crop insurance programs with their market decisions to effectively reduce the amount of exposure a producer has in today’s volatile market place. She operates under the name of Northern Ag Incorporated.
Since 2000, Jody has been working in the agricultural marketing field. She enjoys working directly with producers in helping them come up with hedge marketing strategies that best fit their farming operation. In her day-to-day business, Jody deals with a combination of cash sale recommendations and futures/options.
Jody is originally from Minto, North Dakota. In 2002, she graduated from North Dakota State University with a Bachelor’s of Science degree in Agricultural Economics with an emphasis in Commodity Marketing. She now resides near Goodridge, MN where she and her husband Aaron farm, raising wheat, soybeans and sunflowers. They have one son, Abe, and one on the way! It’s is Jody’s love for the agricultural industry that keeps her motivated to continue to help producers limit their risks during these volatile times!
